Welcome to ChicagoWomeninTech.com (the “Website”) operated by Enova Financial Holdings, LLC a Delaware limited liability company (“Enova”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).  This privacy policy is intended to inform you about how Enova collects and uses your personally identifiable information (“PII”) and other information in operating the Website.

Use of the Website

The Website enables anonymous visitors to the Website (“Visitor”) to learn more about us and Chicago Women in Technology and the associated ChiWitCon, and for Visitors who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and indicate their agreement to abide by the Website’s Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) by means of a click-through consent, as available, to register for the Event as participants (“Participants”) or sponsors (“Sponsors” and together with Participants, “Registrants”) or through the continued use of our Website. The terms “you”, “your” and “yours”, when used herein refer to either Registrants and Visitors or to both Registrants and Visitors collectively, as applicable.

Your use of the Website is subject to the Terms of Use, which can be found at https://chiwomenintech.com/terms/.

You can make general use of the website without providing any PII to Enova. However, you will need to provide us with certain PII in order to use certain of the Website’s functionality, such as registering with us as a Participant or Sponsor.

By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of your PII and other information by Enova as described in this Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change how we handle and use the information that we collect through the Website, and to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in our sole discretion. You agree to review this Privacy Policy periodically to be aware of all such modifications. You further agree that your continued use of the Website after a modified version of this Privacy Policy has been posted shall be deemed to be your conclusive acceptance of any modified version of this Privacy Policy. We will indicate that changes to this Privacy Policy have been made by updating the date indicated after “Last Updated or “Last Modified” at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to abide by the initial version and each modified version of this Privacy Policy, as applicable, then you are not authorized to use the Website. A current version of this Privacy Policy is accessible via the footer of the Website’s homepage.

Information We Collect and How We Use Such Information

Participants and Sponsors must provide certain PII to Enova in order to register for the Event, such as a name, address, email, phone number, and payment information (where applicable). We will use such information to process payments, update Registrants’ records, and comply with any legal obligations. We may also ask Participant for general statistical, non-PII about themselves and their interests to enhance your experience at the Event  or with our Website and to provider Sponsors with editorial or feedback information.

During the event we may photograph, videotape, or otherwise record the Event and use the resulting photos and footage for promotional purpose, and your likeness and image may appear in such photos and footage if you attend the Event. We may, from time to time in our sole discretion, offer Registrants the opportunity to participate in certain programs, such as a Refer-A-Friend or like program. We will use all information collected by us in connection with each such program, including without limitation certain PII, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Sharing Your Information

Certain PII and other information provided by Participants at registration will be available to Sponsors before and during the Event and thereafter; however, your credit card information will not be provided to Sponsors by us without your express prior request.

Please keep in mind that any PII or other information that you provide to third parties in the course of your participation in such activities or otherwise will not be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy but rather to the terms of whatever privacy policy such third party may offer, if any.

Registrants may obtain certain PII and other information about Sponsors or other Participants in the Event show guide, through the Website, or otherwise. Upon Registering for the Event, Participants may elect to be listed in various of the Event’s business industry online and/or print directories. Any such listing may include each Participant’s PII, industry job and other information, which may be sent out to each Registrant along with thousands of other industry professionals via email and other means before or after the Event, and which may be viewable and searchable via the Website. The directory may be shared before, during, and after the Event.

We may receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our websites. For example, like many websites, we use “cookies” to obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses our websites and when you login, such as: your name and your email address.
